Shopee Find: Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Let's talk online budol! Last year, I saw netizens go crazy for robot vacuum cleaners! Probably because a lot of us have been staying home a lot and because this pandemic has taught us so much about cleanliness that cleaning tools like robot vacuum cleaners have been such a hit. Well, a couple of months ago, I finally decided to buy my very own during one of Shopee's sales.

This is the BOWAI Upgraded Automatic Robot Vacuum Cleaner and now that I've been using it for a few months now I'm ready to tell you all about my experience.

This robot vacuum cleaner is available in black or white. You don't get to choose though what color will come to you when you buy. I'm glad I got the black one though.

A Closer Look Inside the Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Before anything, I want to show you what it looks inside.

So this is the dust box. This is where all the dust particles sucked in by the vacuum cleaner goes. The dust box's capacity is 400ML.

This is what you take out and empty out to the trash when it's full. I usually empty it out after two cleanings. After which, you just pop it right back in so you can use it again.

It also comes with this wire chargers. Just insert the USB side to a charger head (I use the one from my mobile phone) and the rounded part is inserted to the circular hole near the power button. It's charging when it lights up in red and it's full once the light turns yellow green. This is manually charged.

The battery capacity is 1200mA and its power is 3W.

The Robot Vacuum in Action

Now that we've got those covered, let's see it in action! I used it to clean the tile floor first in our living room and then another cleaning of the hardwood floors in my room.

What can this vacuum pick up? Small dust particles mostly. So I use this together with the broom. I use the broom to do the initial sweep followed by the robot vacuum cleaner. It can be left alone while it sweeps the room since it will automatically change direction when it hits a wall or any other obstacle. Though in my room, I tend to look after it while it cleans since it could get under big cabinet drawers and unable to get out. Same goes when it hits an uneven part of the hardwood floor. It's a small price to pay. I mean, this is one of those robot vacuum cleaners that's on the affordable side at Php800.

As for the noise, well it's not quiet but it's also not super noisy. You'll still know it's there, running around the room as it cleans but it's not going to disturb you if ever you're in a Zoom call or streaming a movie.

I'm definitely thrilled with this Shopee purchase. It's a good buy! You can purchase your own Bowai Robot Vacuum Cleaner here.
